Inspiration: Artist created image from a black and white photo of a Rwandan girl found in a Salvation Army News magazine while doing volunteer work with organizations Emergency Lodge in Milwaukee Wisconsin. There was a very strong attraction to the photo; like some kind of spiritual connection. It was a creative challenge for artist style and technique application. The name of the photographer and particular magazine was not recorded at the time.
