Inspiration: Title of work and image itself inspired by artist pure imaginative reinterpretation of a piece of art work given to him by his brother Madai July 18 2011; also an artist. Two images strongly appear in artist interpretation; that of a horse and parrot (bird). A horse symbolizes success, freedom, strength, power, ability, wisdom and loyalty. The parrot/bird is symbolic of a new beginning or fresh start. The inspiration of this piece of work occurred around the time the artist was at a low point in self-efficacy while face with a new health (cancer) related challenge in 2008 and good recovery. Artist never doubted creative gift and ability but did experience may question associated with how to publicly exhibit and market works. This work was a rejuvenation of the artist energy; a self- testimonial and acknowledgement of artist innate creative artistic ability.
